Description billinghurst 2013-11-11 11:33:58 UTC
At Commons, I was moving
[[File:Flag of Cameroon (1961).svg]]
to
[[File:Flag of Cameroon (1961-1975).svg]]

I was moving it over the redirect, so through the traditional tool, I went the first refusal and got it to delete and move. The server had a conniption, went to an error page, and when I went back to see success or otherwise of the move, there was no file, ie. it didn't appear at the destination.

purge purge purge wait purge wait wait purge (hasn't worked)

There is just circular redirects.

The file is a widely used image, and it would be great if this could be promptly recovered. Thanks.

Setting bug status to 'UNCONFIRMED' since I can see the file.

@billinghurst: Can you please have a look at it and confirm it's all right? If it does, please mark the bug RESOLVED INVALID (or RESOLVED WORKSFORME, whichever you prefer).

Very weird, I was purging and prodding for 10+ minutes with no change to having no image. Must be something weird in caches or similar.
