Description T. Gries 2013-11-12 17:30:36 UTC
My recent changes show

"(User creation log); 18:12 . . User account 178.X.X.X(Talk) was created by
WikiSysop (Talk | contribs)"

The log entry on an User account creation by an entitled person, e.g. WikiSysop shows the _IP_ address of the account creator (here: WikiSysop) instead of showing the created-account _username_ e.g "Testuser".

To clarify:

the expected log line for the above case:

(User creation log); 18:12 . . User account Testuser (Talk | contribs) was created by WikiSysop (Talk | contribs) ‎

This happens now and then during testing the extension OpenID. My current thinking is, that this is a MediaWiki core problem, not a problem of E:OpenID.
Comment 1 T. Gries 2013-11-12 17:32:48 UTC
