Since redirects can't have items, no need to say that there isn't one.
Wasn't there the decision that we want to allow redirects as sitelinks? At least I can remember such a suggestion.

Since redirects *can* have items (at least as of the previous comment), having the Wikidata Item ID field in action=info seems reasonable.
