Description Michael M. 2013-11-19 08:45:24 UTC
jquery.textSelection.js provides several methods to get or change the contents of a <textarea> or other ways of text input. This includes a getContents method as a wrapper for jQuery's .val(). But the counterpart to set the content is missing. There is a comment which claims the existence of a method called setContents, but there is no such method.

This bug also applies to extensions extending the module to iframes, namely WikiEditor and CodeEditor.
