It would be very nice if WikiEditor had a dialog to work with templates the way VisualEditor has. There is also a user script: [[User:קיפודנחש/TemplateParamWizard]], but IIRC this script doesn't use the informations provided by TemplateData, but uses its own format.

Michael: How is/was this request different from the (unmaintained) template editor which was just removed from WikiEditor recently? https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/123647/
