https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:ApiSandbox#action=mobileview&format=json&page=India&sections=1-&prop=text&sectionprop=line&noheadings= gives me editlinks. Also specifying 'line' doesn't seem to give me the heading out.

How does this effect the existing Wikipedia app? Can you post a screen shot?

According to Yuvi via email, this does not affect current app in production, but is blocking ongoing development of the new app.

Updating summary to clarify that the key issue was presence of the heading in the text at all -- the link being there is secondary issue not yet addressed by Gerrit change #97080.
