expected subpage didn't show up

- create a page (https://test2.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pair_programming_Friday_for_fun_and_profit)
- create subpage (https://test2.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pair_programming_Friday_for_fun_and_profit/2013-11-21)
- on page create a link to subpage
- when entering subpage title (url) in a pop up window, expected subpage didn't show up
Comment 1 Elitre 2013-11-25 17:06:18 UTC
Can it be related to the fact that ns0 is not expected to have subpages?
In ns2, on en.wp, this works: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User%3AElitre_%28WMF%29%2FSandbox&diff=583255199&oldid=582272248 .
Would you like to test in my sandbox as well? Thanks.

Not sure what the bug is here.

If [[Foo/bar]] exists, then creating a link to [[Foo/bar]] will work everywhere, including on [[Foo]]. Example edit:

https://test2.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Pair_programming_Friday_for_fun_and_profit&diff=65324&oldid=64972

However, you can't create sub-page links (i.e., typing in "/bar") when on [[Foo]] unless the namespace has sub-pages enabled; NS0 doesn't have this on production wikis. Marking as INVALID, unless I've missed something?
Comment 3 Elitre 2013-11-26 12:56:49 UTC
(My problem was that the subpage was not showing at all in the suggestions' drop-down menu on test2; I can see it today, so I'm fine.)
Comment 4 Željko Filipin 2013-11-29 16:49:04 UTC
- create parent page[1][2] (Parent)
- create child page[3][4] (Parent/Child)
- at the parent page select some text and try to create a link to the child page (Parent/Child)
- at test2 the child page appears in "matching page" section, as expected (see attached screen shot)
- at wmflabs the child page does not appear in "matching page" section, but it is suggested that a new page is created (see attached screen shot)

I did not understand the comments about site configuration. Are test2/wmflabs differently configured, or is this a bug? At both sites Parent/Child page exists.
