Created attachment 13900 [details] Screenshot Steps to reproduce: 1.Click on the Edit button in a page 2.Select a text by dragging with mouse control. 3.Change the heading format of the text to any format for example:heading/paragraph etc. Observed Result: The cursor moves to a position which is the middle of the first and second line of the page
Test Environment: production Browser: Chrome Version 26.0.1410.65 OS: MAC OS X 10. 8. 5 Example Page:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:RYasmeen_(WMF)/ref_not_editable?veaction=edit
This issue is still happening however I am changing the steps and observed result as follows: Steps to reproduce: 1.Open a page with VE 2.Select any text with keyboard/mouse control/double click 3.Change the heading format of the section to any format, for example:Preformatted/Sub-heading 1 etc. Observed Result: The cursor jumps to the beginning of the page. Now Type something on the first line or apply a format on the first line say "Page title", it actually adds the text in the text position of step 2 replacing replacing its previous content and style.
