Description Yann Forget 2013-12-02 16:33:37 UTC
Hello,

No link appears in Wikipedia when the item exists in Wikidata, but there is no interwiki to another Wikipedia. If an item includes a link to Wikipedia, so in the corresponding WP article the link "Add links" should point to the item. It works for Commons.
This leads to the creation of duplicate items.

Ex: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q8000085 contains a link to the English Wikipedia ("Wikipedia pages linked to this item") -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilberforce_Eames
but clicking to "Add links" in this article does not lead to this item.

Link to Wikidata appears here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Wilberforce_Eames

This should not create any new items. The link is added to the existing one. You can get to that item via the "data item" link in the toolbox section of the sidebar.
