Description Sage Ross 2013-12-03 20:11:39 UTC
The default dates when creating a new course page are:
begins: today
ends: today

This means that unless the user changes them, the course will immediately be inactive. This can cause confusion, because such courses are considered to be over already, so they do not show up in the default list at Special:Courses and the like.

Instead, the default end date should be four months from the current date.
