It seems like gadget scripts are (usually?) not minified.

They should be minified and if possible combined into a single request.

If the gadget is using ResourceLoader it will be automatically minified and combined into a single request.

I assumed that en-wp had everything configured optimally, but it seems like a lot of gadgets don't use ResourceLoader.
