Description oursana 2013-12-07 20:09:17 UTC
Q285933 Jan Brueghel the Younger [https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Q285933&diff=91264784&oldid=91258329]has same label pl:Jan Brueghel as Q209050 Jan Brueghel the Elder [https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q209050?setlang=pl]. After adding qualifiers to Q285933 any change was impossible:getting error:Another item (209050) already has label "Jan Brueghel" and description "flamandzki malarz" associated with language code pl.; [https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Q285933&action=edit&undo=91264784&undoafter=91258329] but the double labeling from Q285933 and Q209050 in pl was not prevented.

According to reports this is leading to items that can't be edited via the UI anymore. An edit via the API is needed to resolve the issue.

Lydia: How can this be both "highest priority" and "backlog"? :)
As this is "highest priority" for nearly three months now, could either an assignee be found, or the priority be retriaged?
Comment 3 Lydia Pintscher 2014-03-11 09:47:25 UTC
This should be fixed when we solve bug 49583.
