It's possible to edit another user's Flow post. However, users are not outwardly informed that their post was edited. It would be helpful to indicate that a post was edited somewhere in the interface.
The WMF core features team tracks this bug on Mingle card https://mingle.corp.wikimedia.org/projects/flow/cards/612, but people from the community are welcome to contribute here and in Gerrit.
