I'm guessing it's not calling the right hooks, but it isn't checking with the spam blacklist for posts/replies/comments.

That would be useful to have a look at any abuse, and look at the IP data to see that it to is checking the right places. There have been examples of other extensions that have not reflected the right IP data, or missed IP checks. Thanks for the report.
Integration with Spam Blacklist and AbuseFilter is supposed to be soon, but the flow team decided it wasn't a a priority for the initial release. Someone from that team should be able to give a timeline for when the integration will happen.
To clarify "initial release"; there's no way in heck we'll hit double-digits of "pages on production with Flow" without these things.
This was fixed a while back.
