When a page gets delete or protected or other things it maybe is useful to say thanks for this action. But do not allow thanks for thanks log entries ...
Is this the same as bug 50867?

As I said there, we should pay the good karma forward (to other people), rather than just bouncing it back. :) If someone wants a ''response'' to their appreciation, or to make their appreciation more publicly visible, they'd be better off making an actual talkpage reply/thread. HTH.

Agreed. Would also be nice to be able to say thanks for translation-related actions in page logs. Thank you for considering this enhancement request. :)
