Description Manuel Schneider 2013-12-18 21:59:13 UTC
Please upload these video files to Wikimedia Commons:

* http://lan.80686.net/WikiTV-2013-12/

There are eleven video files (webm) with corresponding txt files having the
wikicode for the description pages.

Username is 80686.

Thanks!

You should be able to upload all them, with the possible exception of 2012-03-29 RENDER.webm which is way too big not to cause problems.

Tegtmeier, Martina.webm is borderline, but the rest should be easily uploaded -- just enable chunked uploads in your preferences on Commons.
Comment 2 Manuel Schneider 2013-12-18 22:18:09 UTC
I have tried but it doesn't work. Chunked Uploads is a beta feature, so I am not too worried about it. Obviously I'd be happy if it would work for me.
Comment 3 Tomasz W. Kozlowski 2013-12-18 22:20:07 UTC
Sure thing; that's just a minute for a WMF staffer to upload via command line anyway.

(CC'ing Reedy who's been involved with this sort of thing in the past.)
Comment 4 Tomasz W. Kozlowski 2013-12-22 10:11:28 UTC
+ hashar who, I see, helped you with a similar bug recently.
Comment 5 Antoine "hashar" Musso (WMF) 2013-12-22 20:58:52 UTC
Yup that was for bug 58155.

Started downloading process on tin.eqiad.wmnet in a screen using the command:

 http_proxy=brewster.wikimedia.org:8080 wget --accept='*.txt,*.webm' --recursive --level=1 http://lan.80686.net/WikiTV-2013-12/

Files are in /home/hashar/bug58671
Comment 6 Antoine "hashar" Musso (WMF) 2013-12-23 08:51:31 UTC
All files downloaded, importing in commons:

hashar@tin:~/bug58671$ sudo -u apache mwscript importImages.php --wiki=commonswiki --comment-ext=txt --user 80686 /home/hashar/bug58671
Import Images

Note: All of these files were below the max upload size of 1 GB, so you could have uploaded them yourself :)
