Description Robin Green 2013-12-22 21:17:44 UTC
I have enabled the experimental Media Viewer feature on Wikipedia, and when I click on an image, left and right scroll through the images on the page in full-window mode.

However, when editing a page in Visual Editor, this keeps happening (that is, images from the article keep appearing in full-window mode) when I am trying to move around with the cursor keys.

VisualEditor should disable this "feature", as it's obviously not wanted when editing a page!

I use the Chromium browser.

This should have been fixed in Media Viewer with bug 58266 being closed (the code was deployed to all wikis on 12 December), but if you're still encountering it that's not good.

Does it still break in this manner? What happens if you refresh?

Yeah, I don't see why this would still have been an issue on December 22, there should be no way to get this issue to happen anymore.

If someone else sees this issue, speak up quick, but please be willing to discuss it with us relatively quickly, ideally on IRC, so we can nail it down.

Thanks!
