Description christian 2013-12-23 13:11:21 UTC
The total of zero=410-01 tagged requests jumped from
~150K requests/day before 2013-12-02 to ~320K requests/day on
2013-12-02, and finally to ~500K requests/day. Staying around ~475K
requests/day since then.

Is this sane traffic increase, or did something break?

I did some preliminary analysis before Christmas, and Adam pointed me towards
carrier advertising around that time. That is backed by the referrers

  http://119.160.80.7:8080/mobilink_free_zone/index_english.html
  http://119.160.80.7:8080/mobilink_free_zone/index_urdu.html

that we're starting to see around that time. But we're also having a huge
increase in “-” referrers. Since, Christmas got in the way, and we're
currently fighting on other ends as well, I am not done with analysing
the issue.
