Renameuser sends a bunch of emails to users who have signed up for the enotifwatchlistpages user preferences item, informing them of all the User: and User talk: pages that have been moved (assuming "Move user and talk pages (and their subpages) to new name" is checked). Ditto for people who are on the $wgUsersNotifiedOnAllChanges list. It could be hundreds of emails, if the user had an extensive collection of user subpages. It would probably be better to send just one email to each of these users with a list of all the pages that are being moved and where they're being moved to.
