When I'm editing a page using the edit with form and save it that modification date is not displayed to the property "Modification date" until I edit it again and save, then it will show the previously modified date. When you select when you look at Page information Date of latest edit the date is correct, looking at browse properties Modification date the date is incorrect.
Hi - are you sure that saving the same pages with the regular "edit" tab doesn't produce the same results?
Marking this as "invalid" - my guess, barring further information, is that this isn't related to the use of forms.

We stopped using the LastModified Date and used magic words to pull the date the issue still is inconsitant last modifeid dates under Page information Browse properties Semantic Bundle (Version 1.8.0.5)

I sent an email responding to the last post you gave I did not realize I needed to post my answer back here. The last modified date for us is still wrong under "Browse properties" we had to use {{date|{{REVISIONMONTH}}/{{REVISIONDAY2}}/{{REVISIONYEAR}}|mdy}} as a work around
You may be misunderstanding the overall issue - the question is not whether the "last modified" property is wrong; it's whether forms are the cause of this.
