This issue was converted from https://jira.toolserver.org/browse/DBQ-98. Summary: Scan a selection of pages on EnWp tagged as a stub to see if the page is over 10kilobytes or so. Issue type: Task - A task that needs to be done. Priority: Trivial Status: Done Assignee: Tim Sears <sears.tim@gmail.com> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Avicennasis <Avicennasis@gmail.com> Date: Wed, 25 Aug 2010 10:20:26 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have no idea if this is feasible at all to do. Ideally, the goal is to select a subcategory of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Stub_categories, scan all the pages in it, and render a report on their size. (I am looking at ways to restart the stub sensor project - the founding user has long since left and did not leave any sourcecode behind.)

I'd be glad to help you, but I'm unsure of what you want. Could you describe the ideal report that would be given? --Tim
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Tim Sears <sears.tim@gmail.com> Date: Thu, 26 Aug 2010 02:54:31 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...If you just wanted a list of all stubs over 10kb, there are already web tools that can help you. Here is a report that does just that (it may take a few minutes to load, while it is doing the query).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Avicennasis <Avicennasis@gmail.com> Date: Thu, 26 Aug 2010 04:04:35 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That is actually exactly what I was looking for. I was thinking, "Why hasn't someone created this yet?" Though, it seems I just missed it somehow. Thanks for the information! ![][1] [1]: https://jira.toolserver.org/images/icons/emoticons/smile.gif
