This issue was converted from https://jira.toolserver.org/browse/DBQ-181. Summary: Need to access deletion logs of articles by a specific user Issue type: Task - A task that needs to be done. Priority: Major Status: Done Assignee: Hoo man <hoo@online.de> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Kevin Wayne Williams <kww@kwwilliams.com> Date: Mon, 09 Apr 2012 17:26:50 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For building an abuse case against a user that spans project boundaries, I need to get the deletion logs for every article created by the user that have subsequently been deleted on all Wikimedia projects. Currently, I am looking at TBrandley, but I know that this query would be useful against many similar problematic editors. Note that I am not asking for a tool that allows me to view the deleted articles, or anything else that would be restricted to admins on the various projects. Users of all levels are allowed to see the deletion logs, there's just no way to search by creating user.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Hoo man <hoo@online.de> Date: Thu, 12 Apr 2012 01:39:27 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First of all some notes on the data: The query gets a list of pages the user created which are now deleted (this can also include pages where the first revision(s) have been deleted, but not the entire page) and then it gets the FULL deletion log for those pages (so that there might be more than one entry for one page and you have to find out at your own which belongs to the given user and which doesn't). So, as you see, the given data should be reviewed per hand. Script: http://toolserver.org/~hoo/dbq/dbq-181.sh Result: http://toolserver.org/~hoo/dbq/dbq-181.txt (plain text)
