Description physikerwelt 2014-01-09 11:03:46 UTC
The Vagrant git module has more options... i.e. for me the branch function would be really nice.
Is there a chance to use the git module from labs/operations (i.e. https://git.wikimedia.org/raw/operations%2Fpuppet/1d826460c05979d8ced9165d7d69db1027462e87/modules%2Fgit%2Fmanifests%2Fclone.pp;jsessionid=5vyog3q6q7gaox42z8p466k3)?

We have been adding features to the mw-vagrant git module on an ad-hoc basis. Currently it seems unlikely that production and mw-vagrant will share the same implementation in the near future. In some awesome future we will share more (all?) puppet code between mw-vagrant and prod.

If there are specific features that you feel are missing in mw-vagrant's implementation please open a bug (or bugs) asking for them.
