Description bgwhite 2014-01-21 05:41:39 UTC
I've been having problems with /public. It takes several minutes to mount, if it actually does mount. Programs using the directory for data have all died the past few days because the mount point goes away.

When I currently do a 'df -k' on tools-login, I get:
df: `/home (deleted)': No such file or directory
df: `/data/project (deleted)': No such file or directory
df: `/mnt/pagecounts (deleted)': No such file or directory
Comment 1 Marc A. Pelletier 2014-04-29 20:06:09 UTC
This is almost certainly caused by the 'autofs5' package being installed on the instance and conflicting with the fixed mounts. Normally, simply purging the package and rebooting will fix the issue.

I think this was reported for Tools in pmtpa, so it will have been resolved by the migration to eqiad.
