Intention: <References /> automatically updates as you edit a page. The {{Reflist}} template does not. Can the handling of the template be improved so that refs inside the {{ref list}} template also update automatically? Reproducible: Didn't try

This is one of the (many) reasons why we discourage people from using {{Reflist}}.
This is a confusing response. {{reflist}} is used all over the place, often by preference. A blank "wontfix" doesn't address the reasons for this statement, and they do in fact need addressing. Are you planning to systematically remove {{reflist}}, for example? Clarification is needed on this point.
