When the SkinTemplateNavigation hook is called and a new page is created, the editor window turns a shade of blue and accepts no text. Text must be entered below the shaded edit window. It doesn't matter if the function called by SkinTemplateNavigation does anything (can just return true).

Issue shows in IE but not Firefox.

Are you seeing this with a specific version of mediawikicore/WikiEditor?
