Description Quiddity 2014-01-27 20:01:08 UTC
This topic has 10 posts, 7 of which were deleted. http://ee-flow.wmflabs.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:River_source&workflow=050a075f47a334dffb6efa163e68c4ac

The topic titlebar says "10 comments", but it should only count the visible posts.

The WMF core features team tracks this bug on Mingle card https://wikimedia.mingle.thoughtworks.com/projects/flow/cards/736, but people from the community are welcome to contribute here and in Gerrit.

This also happens for anonymous users when posts are hidden (bug 63789), and for regular users when posts are suppressed (bug 63657).

Rather than adjusting the comment count for each user as comment #0 proposes, Flow could instead indicate when some posts aren't visible. Change the flow-topic-comments to "4* comments" with an asterisk and give it a title tooltip saying "4 comments, some not shown".
