Maths don't work anymore after updating Math extension.

PNG conversion failed; check for correct installation of latex and dvipng (or dvips + gs + convert)

Yes. The configuration has changed. You can either disable the additional security check via setting $wgMathDisableTexFilter = true; in LocalSettings.php or run make in the texvccheck subdirectory.
