Description dr0ptp4kt 2014-02-03 18:10:46 UTC
On iOS 7, tapping on the "Don't as me again" interstitial button doesn't seem to do anything from the perspective of an end user.
Comment 1 MZMcBride 2014-02-03 18:23:01 UTC
Can you please be more specific about steps to reproduce this issue, including relevant URLs?
Comment 2 Jon 2014-02-03 18:45:01 UTC
Yeh what MZ said - what is "don't ask me again?"

Do not ask me again does nothing on tap in iOS 7

NOTE: in the simulator the "Do not ask me again" will actually take the user to the external page and set the cookie to retain the user's preference to not be bothered when navigating offsite. But on an actual iOS 7 device it isn't doing anything.

As someone near to me indicated, the verbiage for the specific button could be clarified, but that's a tangential matter.

Some users had expressed their desire to have the option to have a "Don't ask me again" thing.
Comment 4 dr0ptp4kt 2014-02-03 20:39:16 UTC
The behavior is this:

1. User on W0 network navigates to a page.
2. The user taps on a link for an external, offsite page.
3. The user gets an interstitial.
4. The user taps on "Do not ask me again".
5. The user cries because it does nothing.
6. The user probably taps "Go back" or "Accept", sobbing.
