Description Xelgen 2014-02-11 11:15:21 UTC
Please set up Private mailing list WikimediaAM-I for board members, and possibly future employees. Delicate issues, e.g. related to our sponsors, donors and partners may be discussed in this mailing list, so we'd prefer to have a private, "read by list members only".

Please use my E-mail here, as list admin, and also add [[User:Vacio]] "vgratian (at) riseup (dot) net" as admin of list.
Comment 1 Andre Klapper 2014-02-11 13:03:41 UTC
What is "WikimediaAM-I" and what do those letters stand for?
Comment 2 Xelgen 2014-02-11 14:00:44 UTC
Ah, sorry, wasn't clear enough:
WikimediaAM-I stands for Wikimedia Armenia Internal.

I've just requested another publicly readable list for Wikimedia Armenia in https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61182
Comment 3 Thehelpfulone 2014-02-23 00:46:30 UTC
To follow existing naming conventions, this list name would be Wikimedia-AM-I, but I worry that just -I would get it confused with -l for a number of our old lists.

Perhaps Wikimedia-AM-Internal instead?
Comment 4 Xelgen 2014-02-24 11:48:30 UTC
If naming conventions allow Wikimedia-AM-Internal as name, then we're all for it.
Not only it will solve I/l issue, we also had concerns that private Wikimedia-AM-I is not noticably different from publuc Wikimedia-AM and it may lead to sensitive communication being sent to public mailing list. So your suggestion also will help with that.
Thanks,

Wikimedia-AM-Internal created, the system sent the password to User:Vacio because I didn't realize right away that you should also be an admin. I added you as another admin email but he will need to share the password with you (let me know if you have any issues).

Thank Jamess,

I've recieved E-mail for the other mailing list, but User:Vacio hasn't recieved email for this, internal one, yet.

Is there a way to resend/reset password?
Comment 7 James Alexander 2014-03-10 22:36:24 UTC
I can send a new one to you both, will do so in a couple minutes.
Comment 8 James Alexander 2014-03-10 23:07:51 UTC
You should have an email with a new one, my apologies, I used the wrong email address for User:Vacio ( .com instead of .net).
Comment 9 Xelgen 2014-03-10 23:21:19 UTC
Both, received :)
Thanks a lot!
