Description physikerwelt 2014-02-12 18:06:10 UTC
mathoid is publised on ppa and should be moved to a wmf repo
https://github.com/physikerwelt/mathoid-deploy
Comment 1 physikerwelt 2014-02-12 18:07:39 UTC
maybe an ops request ticket has to be created...
Comment 2 Gabriel Wicke 2014-02-12 20:07:10 UTC
I imported a snapshot at https://git.wikimedia.org/summary/?r=mediawiki/services/mathoid and added you to the group, so you should have full access there.

Lets discuss deploy repo vs. npm install in the makefile on IRC.
Comment 4 physikerwelt 2014-02-13 07:21:46 UTC
I have no rights there, since I'm not in
https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/admin/groups/697,members
I can't add myself there or ask to join.
If you're setting up a wmf repository it would be greate to ensure that npm >=1.3.0 on the server. Otherwise we'll run into the same problems that I had in launchpad
https://launchpad.net/~physikerwelt/+archive/mathoid/+build/5583385
itnoring that dependencies does not work either
https://launchpadlibrarian.net/165955994/buildlog_ubuntu-precise-i386.mathoid_0.1-0ubuntu1_FAILEDTOBUILD.txt.gz
I also had that problem with vagrant... If you apt-get install npm you get a verstion that produces the same error as above.

The rights should be fixed now. You should also have the rights to add other users to the group, which can then in turn add more members. Basically self-managing.
