Description Paulo 2014-02-15 23:09:13 UTC
VE is unable to insert a internal reference with sub-section. Example:

[["Wikipédia Article name"#"Section name"]], return only [["Wikipédia Article name"]] (without redirect to section), as per [https://pt.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Faculdade_Salesiana_de_Maca%C3%A9&diff=38176530&oldid=38176349|this edit].

I don't understand this bug report, sorry.

It is certainly possible right now to write "Foo#Bar" as your target, though VisualEditor doesn't validate "#Bar" as being a valid section so it may be confusing…

Do you mean that you would expect the link inspector to understand sections and give a better experience for that? If so, I think this is bug 50881. Provisionally merging with that one.
