Description Southparkfan 2014-02-19 10:34:18 UTC
Intention:
I tried to create a topic to test the Flow extension (On https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Flow/Developer_test_page). Just with random title and text.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Flow/Developer_test_page
2. Add a topic with random title and text
3. Try the "Add topic" and "Preview" buttons

Actual Results:
Every time when I click on "Add topic" an error occurs with the text "An error occurred.
The error message received was: Exception Caught: Failed contacting Parsoid".
When I click on "Preview" I get an error also; "An unexpected error occurred."

Expected Results:
That Flow would add my topic so that it is publicly visible.

Reproducible: Always

Known issue on meta, VE had never been deployed there so parsoid wasn't configured properly to work with meta. Will have it working some time this week I imagine.

meta works.
We still get occasional errors contacting the Parsoid service during operation.

Echo gives me a notification, linking to https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Topic:Rph48bwdywiirqf5&fromnotif=1&action=edit&redlink=1, which throws MWExceptions: [3033afee] 2014-08-26 19:26:21: Fatal exception of type MWException

Is this perhaps related to this bug?
