VisualEditor breaking words on diacritics

A user was trying to remove the duplicated header which is on section "Propriedades Algébricas" of
https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logaritmo?oldid=38172637&veaction=edit

After deleting the duplicated cells, Visual Editor also removes part of a word from the previous paragraph.

I suspect this had nothing to do with diacritics, but was because there was unbalanced wikitext. It looks like Parsoid outputs that particular wikitext differently now anyway. Suggest WONTFIX.
