Description Andre Klapper 2014-02-27 16:34:26 UTC
We have "Wikimedia > Fundraising: Requirements" which has 2 tickets.
Don't know the history behind.

Proposal: Merge into "Wikimedia > Fundraising: Misc." which has 41 and rename that component to "Wikimedia > Fundraising".

Furthermore and only for the/my records, there are:
* MediaWiki extensions > FundraiserLandingPage with 3 tickets and being deployed on WMF servers
* MediaWiki extensions > FundraiserPortal with 5 tickets; extension no longer deployed on WMF servers since 2012 according to https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Extension:FundraiserPortal&action=history and only in SVN.
* MediaWiki extensions > ContributionReporting though not sure how "active" that is, see bug 42521 comment 5
(Fundraising team mostly uses Mingle and CiviCRM.)

Also, from https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/describekeywords.cgi :

fun-com:
   Fundraising bugs particularly well-suited for community participation
   (39 total; 18 open)
fundraising:
   For bugs generally related to fundraising.
   (79 total; 32 open)

The two keywords can probably be merged into "fundraising", as I don't see any clear differentiation criteria here (plus I'm not sure if Bugzilla is the prefered/right place for "community participation" in Fundraising).
Comment 2 Andre Klapper 2014-02-28 20:45:45 UTC
I killed the "Fundraising: Requirements" component under "Wikimedia" by moving its two tickets into "Fundraising: Misc."

I closed the "ContributionReporting" component under "MediaWiki extensions" (as per bug 42521 comment 5 and bug 61598 comment 1), updated its component description, and closed its remaining open tickets as WONTFIX.

Further components which hopefully are still alive:
* DonationInterface
* ContributionTracking
