Steps to reproduce: 1. open lightbox 2. enter fullscreen 3. exit fullscreen via some other means than the MMV icon (by pressing ESC, or by clicking the link provided by the browser) Expected result: Lightbox goes back to normal (non-fullscreen) view of the image. Actual result: Lightbox closes
IIRC this is a product decision that is on purpose. I'd ask Fabrice before fixing :)
Yes, it is clear from the code that it is intentional, but it is very confusing IMO.
Please bring this up during the design meetings instead and/or on the mailing list. I don't think that filing a bug is the right channel of communication for a disagreement with an intentional UX design decision.
Has this been discussed? I too found it surprising.
