I do not appreciate bots removing content from my User page. EXPECTED BEHAVIOR: * CommonsDelinker replaces media links with links to the new canonical version. * CommonsDelinker providers users with some way to find the new canonical media version. EXPECTED GRACEFUL DEGRADATION: * CommonsDelinker, if deleting media links, warns users when media is deleted from their personal User page. ACTUAL BEHAVIOR: * CommonsDelinker deletes media links from User pages with no warning.
No need to notify Users about removal of deleted links (delinking).

Even leaving a broken Image tag, which was quite clearly intentionally placed in the wikitext by a human being, is better than automatically deleting it with zero notice to anyone. Leaving a message on the User talk page when messing with a User page is a common courtesy if your bot is going to fundamentally alter the actual content on the page.
