Description casimir.the_great 2014-03-14 19:36:01 UTC
When I type in "one-on-one" into the search bar of Wikipedia, it gives me "An error has occurred while searching: HTTP request timed out." I mentioned this on the Technical village pump, and some other users have had issues. Cirrus search works fine, but Lucerne doesn't, and it's just "one-on-one". It's been doing this every time I try, starting at about 1:30PM Eastern Time yesterday.

I also get the error when searching for "one-on one" (without the quotation marks).
Comment 2 Chad H. 2014-03-14 22:15:36 UTC
Not an issue in core search, an issue in lsearchd/MWSearch, moving there are appropriate.

And WONTFIXing because this isn't a problem in Cirrus.
