Description Bawolff (Brian Wolff) 2014-03-21 02:25:09 UTC
Low priority issue, but it would be cool if there was an edit (change) tag on all log entries and edits made by the tool.

That would allow people to query for GWToolset actions more easily (including from say Special:Log) if they were so inclined, and it would be more consistent with other tools like oAuth which do that.

GWT don't write logs o_O. This should be fixed.
Comment 2 2014-04-30 13:08:30 UTC
Uploads appear in the log. I think this is a request for a new tag in https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Tags for GWT actions. This seems a reasonable thing to do, though as all uploads appear in a GWT category, not a major improvement from an automation point of view.
