When the View mention/notification or View changes link form echo trigged emails are followed to the page with the change, mention, or notification, the echo notification count and read state of the message should be cleared. This way the user does not have to open and clear the echo notification by following the link again.

Duplicate, but feel free to change the Summary in the earlier bug.
It probably should be "email" specific, to avoid accidentally clearing a notification simply by visiting a page for unrelated reasons.
