Description Nicolas Raoul 2014-03-23 07:43:26 UTC
Steps to reproduce:

- Use a Japanese software keyboard like the default one in Huawei GLS07 (most popular phone distributed by EMOBILE)
- Go to sign up screen
- Type name, press enter to finish string
- Type password, press enter to finish string
- Type confirmation password, press enter to finish string
- The page reacts to this action by reloading, as if I was done with the form
- Of course I was not done (captcha not entered) so I receive an error

Workaround: Type captcha BEFORE entering confirmation password.

Silly bug, but it will probably make 90% of the potential Japanese/Chinese/Korean users give up.

Hello! Can you tell me if this is using the Mobile Website?
Comment 2 Nicolas Raoul 2014-03-26 04:06:10 UTC
Just using the Android Commons app.
I did not use any website (though one might be embedded in a WebView of the app, I don't know).

As the Mobile Apps Team is focussing on the new, native Wikipedia app, the Commons app is no longer being maintained by the Wikimedia Foundation. I am WONTFIXing all open Commons app bugs to reflect that we will not be spending time fixing them.
