On Desktop, if you try to create an article that is title blacklisted (via the TitleBlacklist extension), it gives you the following error as soon as you click the edit button: You do not have permission to create pages, for the following reason: The title "Heck" has been banned from creation. It matches the following blacklist entry: .*heck.* On mobile, it lets you write the article, but when you try to save it, it gives you a generic "Error, edit not saved" toast error. We should change the behavior on mobile, so that it checks for title blacklist status when you first hit the edit button, and give the user a more specific error message.
Prioritization and scheduling of this bug is tracked on Mingle card https://wikimedia.mingle.thoughtworks.com/projects/mobile/cards/1829
We should tackle this before refining article creation through MobileFrontend. I've associated this bug with the relevant story in the backlog, https://wikimedia.mingle.thoughtworks.com/projects/mobile/cards/1899
