Description Jonatan Svensson Glad (Josve05a) 2014-03-31 23:55:31 UTC
In this (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3A69.117.195.49&diff=602187310&oldid=578638944) edit HG3 added a warning with the header "April 2014" while th serverdate and signature still was 23:53, 31 March 2014 (UTC). THis is a minor thing, but still.
Comment 1 Peter Bena 2014-04-01 08:09:58 UTC
Huggle takes this from your system time, so your PC had April in that time :P

There is very little that huggle can do about this, mediawiki would need to have something like {{subst:Month}} or something for this to work properly
Comment 2 Peter Bena 2014-04-01 08:12:40 UTC
OR: mediawiki would need to make it possible to return current time, made a bug for that.
Comment 3 Peter Bena 2014-04-01 08:15:03 UTC
lowering priority until the mediawiki bug is fixed
Comment 4 se4598 2014-04-01 09:16:05 UTC
{{ #time: F }} / {{ #time: F Y}} could be used in the meantime

Such as {{subst:CURRENTMONTHNAME}}? Or {{subst:#time:F Y}}, as se4598 suggested?

Closed as WORKSFORME, since your requested feature has existed in the API since 2008.

When I think of that, it wouldn't work as huggle is required to merge the new warning in existing section if section with current month already exist. In order to do that it needs to check current month name against the current content of talk page, so if needs to know the name of month anyway.

If it was using subst, it would just result in creating multiple sections with same month in this case
Comment 7 Peter Bena 2014-04-12 20:39:02 UTC
no longer blocked by any other bug, now it's waiting just for lazy devs of huggle :3
