Description Helder 2014-04-04 17:04:17 UTC
After
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=602745335&oldid=602632745
if I go to
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Preferences?useskin=monobook#mw-prefsection-gadgets
I still see the option "Vector classic typography (use only sans-serif in Vector skin)".

On the other hand, if I change my skin to monobook and save my new preference, it disappears as expected. It seems to be missing some code to detect the URL parameter.

I wonder if it actually should… The current behavior depends on user preferences, because preferences is what matter here.

Use the data for the current request instead could lead to surprising behavior, e.g. when the user tries to submit the form with &useskin= and gadgets unavailable for the current skin (not present in the form shown) get disabled.
