Screenshot showing broken login and create account links

The "Login" and "Create account" links on mediawiki.org seem to be broken.

To reproduce, make sure you are not signed in. If signed in, logout and revisit http://www.mediawiki.org again

Observed: The links are broken
Comment 1 Pratik Lahoti 2014-04-05 08:09:49 UTC
Oops, just a note: As seen in the screenshot, the other links - View History, View Source and the Search text seem to be broken as well.
Comment 2 Andre Klapper 2014-04-05 13:01:12 UTC
(Links aren't "broken" as they still do what they are expected to do when clicking them; the text is wrong though so changing bug summary.)

Being logged out and going to https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki in Google Chrome 33, I see the usual strings "Create account" and "Log in" instead of the technical placeholders.

Pratik: Does this always happen or only sometimes? Have you bypassed your browser cache? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:BYPASS
Comment 3 Pratik Lahoti 2014-04-05 14:56:10 UTC
Andre: I should have mentioned that I was using Mozilla Firefox 26.0. And also sorry for using the word "broken".

I am *not* able to reproduce it now on a different machine. However, I had confirmed this bug from kondi on #mediawiki before filing it. It was there in the afternoon. Wonder if the bug got fixed or it was some cache issue for both of us.

I'm pretty sure this is related to the "Localisation not working on MediaWiki.org" on the (internal) Engineering mailing list so I guess that either stuff got reverted or worked around.

Yes, that's what happened
