When going to
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Henri_Rousseau_009.jpg?veaction=edit
VE has 1 notice telling me:

"Du bist einem Link zu einer Seite gefolgt, die nicht vorhanden ist. Um diese Seite anzulegen, trage deinen Text in das untenstehende Bearbeitungsfeld ein (weitere Informationen auf der [/wiki/Help:Contents Hilfeseite])."

Note the "[/wiki/Help:Contents Hilfeseite]" part. I guess it should be a link.


"Newarticletext" seems to be the only message containing this text. And there was only one hit for "Newarticletext" in the VE repo:

Indeed, the issue seems to be at the PHP side;
POST /w/api.php
action	visualeditor
format	json
paction	parse
page	File:Henri_Rousseau_009.jpg

returns the message as "<p>Du bist einem Link zu einer [...] der [/wiki/Help:Contents Hilfeseite] [...] deines Browsers. </p>"
