... and there's no langlink from other source (ex. Wikibase). After a reload it goes away.

Seems like an edge case. Not sure how/if we should invest time in fixing this.

Sorry I didn't catch the more generic case: if there were no langlinks and the edit didn't add new links, the button still appears.
