When is too long summary (eg. revert of edit from IPv6 address with some summary) I got (not localised) message "Your edit summary is too long." - red frame about summary field and non-clickable save button

But when I delete part of this summary, I am not able to save page, I must give preview ant then I can save

Please provide a reproducible specific testcase with steps to reproduce (step by step).
Comment 2 JAn Dudík 2014-04-10 18:28:29 UTC
In Opera 20 is bug. In opera 15 is not.
Comment 3 Bawolff (Brian Wolff) 2014-04-10 19:07:32 UTC
Probably local javascript. We do not have the string "Your edit summary is too long" anywhere in core. If its too long we just shorten it and add "..." at the end (and also stop people from typing more characters). We do not error out.
