When the viewport is not tall enough, some elements can't be seen.

There's something wrong in edit preview, but I don't know how to describe it. Basically the viewport doesn't shrink after IME is shown.

I can't reproduce this, as I can't get the pages to display enough content for the content to scroll off the page.

Can you provide a screenshot so I can see what's happening?

Use Hacker's Keyboard. There's an option in it to make it taller.
