Steps to reproduce:

1.Open a page with VE
2.Just add a newline by pressing the return
3.Click on the "Save Page" button which got enabled 

Observed Result:
 "Unknown Error" appears on the Save dialog box

Test Environment: http://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/
Browser: Chrome Version 26.0.1410.65 
OS: MAC OS X 10. 8. 5

It also shows the following error in the console:
POST http://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/w/api.php 500 (Internal Server Error)

LGTM. Maybe this was fixed by the changes to the save dialog? Not sure…
